The beginning....

I don’t know how or why we knew, but we did. The night of the ninth, we could tell that Leia was going to have puppies in the next twelve hours. My mom and I had shifts to stay up with her. My dad and sister, went to bed. Mom went to sleep first while I watched videos on my iPad. About 30 minutes went by, and we switched ( not to mention we were in my bed room).  I slept for a little while my mom did homework, as she is taking more college online. Every 15 or so minutes she would scratch at the door to go outside. she would go and dig like she was in the wild. At around two thirty, she really started having contractions. My mom woke me up and said, “She’s pushing! She’s pushing!”at around 2:55, the puppy we call blue was born. The started to come around 20 minutes  the time eventually started spacing out and we ended up having 9 healthy pups. Now , they are 6 days old and the are big. They are eating great. We are excited to let people in the area to take home these pups. Especially me b caus Leia is so loyal and I’m glad that people can have dogs just like Leia!
